Carolina Inn North Carolina Wedding

North Carolina Wedding at Carolina Inn. Raleigh Bridal Shows for Chapel Hill, Cary, Wake Forest, and Durham brides. When Mike and Allison first met through work, he was a new employee and she was his mentor. At first, Allison wasn’t entirely thrilled about being paired with a guy but before long, their work emails turned into personal emails, “how are things going?” turned into “what are you doing this weekend?” and before long, the two were planning their first date.

And that date eventually led to a splendid wedding day at the Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Allison was a classic bride in a V-neck gown with a chapel length veil, classic updo, and bouquet full of hydrangea, roses, and hypericum berries.

Her bridesmaids wore blush dresses in various styles and were smiling ear to ear for the beloved bride.

Mike was a traditional groom in a black tuxedo with a white bow tie.

His groomsmen wore black tuxedos, as well, but instead, wore black bow ties for variation.

They wed in a traditional church ceremony, where the only thing grander than the organ at the top of the altar was the incredible love between the bride, groom, and all of their guests.

The guests were treated to a pre-reception cocktail hour while the bridal party took photos around the inn.

Inside the gorgeous ballroom, tables were set up with lovely tall centerpieces filled with the same flowers as the bride’s bouquet.

The gold chivari chairs complemented the gold trimmings of the room seamlessly.

The cake was a soft three-tier creation with white buttercream and flower adornments. It sat atop a beautiful cake stand and stand-out gold table cover.

Sans veil, Allison and Mike had their first dance as husband and wife. Guests looked on lovingly before joining them for dancing the rest of the evening.

The couple made their exit in a pedicab complete with a sign simply reading “Just Married.”

A traditional wedding will never go out of style. This white, blush, and gold day were perfect for Allison and Mike. And even though their initial meeting may have been seemed problematic for several reasons, the outcome was a dreamy happily ever after.
