Gatlinburg TN Mountain Engagement. Sovy and John have had quite the journey in their love story. Life has taken these city folks from Hawaii and California and now, to Tennessee. And since an extended family vacation was planned to see the Great Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, these two took the opportunity to join their pup on the most beautiful fall engagement shoot. This shoot is a gorgeous representation of the beauty and wonder that Gatlinburg reveals during the fall. Bold, brazen colors are on full display as far as one’s eyes can see.
Their cabin, nestled right near the mountains, was the perfect starting point.
Sovy wore brown riding boots, skinny jeans, a cargo jacket, and a white blouse. John looked completely in his element with a red flannel shirt and jeans. They started off the session perched on top of a rocky hillside, with the mountains painting a blue horizon behind them.
They grabbed their 10-month old pup, Gunnar, and strolled down the road near their cabin. A galaxy of orange and gold leaves were scattered along their path.
The photographer managed to capture the most beloved elements of fall in this session. From the changing colors in the distance, to the fallen leaves on the ground, every characteristic was beautiful and nothing went unnoticed.
Then the perfect pair took a seat with their puppy and also shared a sweet moment of affection. It’s obvious from these photos that Sovy and John love everything about being in love.
The conclusion of their engagement session came with a sweeping sky of milky gray and white clouds overhead, and a painting of fall colors down below.
Sovy and John may be from the city, but they look completely comfortable and natural in the great outdoors of Gatlinburg. This session leaned largely on the gorgeous surroundings and the great relationship between its two subjects, showing that life can take us anywhere, but it's finding the destination with that special someone that makes it truly worth living.
