From the bride: "When I started to plan my wedding, I had a specific vision in my mind (which had been there for as long as I can remember). I wanted it to be southern but worldly, sophisticated yet playful, and pale pink and deep orange were the colors I had in mind. I chose Brookgreen Gardens because my family has a home in the area, and my mother is on the board there, so it was always in the back of my mind for my wedding. I interviewed several planners, but the decision to go with Gigi was easy. She was so excited about my ideas and knew exactly how to make it all come together, and her commitment to perfection was contagious. I was fortunate to track down The Secrets, my favorite band from College of Charleston late nights at the Moulin Rouge. Faith Teasley was a natural choice for photography after viewing her work. She captured everything so beautifully. With these core pieces of the puzzle, we were able to plan an amazing evening that showed my husband’s German guests how we have fun down South."
