Sunset Terrace at Chelsea's Pier New York Wedding. Groom Masaki served in the US Army and during this courageous time in his life he befriended a fellow solider in the same battalion who would one day photograph his wedding. Masaki married Ruri in a brisk New York ceremony on the Sunset Terrace at Chelsea's Pier in New York. Their artistic and intimate wedding was sweet and colorful.

Ruri and Masaki looked classic and timeless on their big day. Ruri wore a strapless A-line gown with gorgeous beading. She accessorized with a simple pearl necklace, large flower hairpiece and a veil. Masaki wore a black tuxedo and a black bowtie. He wore a pink orchid boutonniere as his bride carried a pink orchid bouquet.

Their bridal party included their dearest loved ones. Bridesmaids looked amazing in strapless purple dresses with sweetheart necklines. Each gentleman in the wedding wore a black tuxedo with their own personal choice of tie.

The impeccable characteristic about their wedding venue was the incredible skyline in the distance. The couple was able to capture the amazing backdrop in all of their photos.

Set to soft violin music, Ruri made a grand entrance to the ceremony space through a light pink curtain and was escorted down the flower-flanked aisle. Tall arrangements on white pedestals and candlelight truly transformed the location into a stunning ceremony space.

Masaki and Ruri said I do in front of a lush and colorful flower arbor.

They shared their first kiss as husband and wife surrounded by the beaming smiles of a love-filled congregation and splashes of pink and red everywhere.

As the night fell, the venue lit up with accent lighting. Round reception tables were dressed with white textured linens, pink napkins and tall centerpieces dripping with pink flowers.

Guests found their seats by adorable personalized paper parasols.

The cake was a conversation starter. Marbled pink, yellow, and teal butterflies cascaded down a four-tier creation. The contrast between the white tiers and colorful details was a gorgeous and creative display.

Guests enjoyed the celebration. Grabbing hats and glow jewelry, they danced the night away with the bride and groom. From start to finish, it was a rousing reception.

Masaki's friend was honored to photograph his wedding to his beautiful bride, Ruri. Their modern and marvelous day was a gorgeous illustration of their personalities and perspectives on life. It's a New York new start for Masaki and Ruri.
