Styled Florida Engagement Shoot

For this styled Florida engagement shoot, the designers leaned on the beloved style of real-life bride-to-be Tammie. They created an ethereal scene with earthy, whimsical, and organic décor that brought this outdoor session to a whole new level. Tammie’s father actually built the teepee for this shoot and it served as the perfect starting point.

The stylists brought in wicker furniture, lanterns, tons of candles, and an abundance of florals to soften the woodland setting and add a sense of romance to the shoot.

Unique votives, cut crystals, beaded pillows, and various pastel-colored flowers were a creative addition.

Tammie is first seen wearing a white halter-style dress as she sits in the teepee, looking composed in quiet solitude.

She clasps a wild bouquet arranged with colorful blooms and flower buds.

Yuri joins her. He wears a gray vest, jeans, and a navy blue tie. They share a quiet, affectionate moment inside the teepee.

For a little variation to her first look, Tammie’s hair is styled in a gorgeous updo which serves her well throughout the next few shots.

She and Yuri come out from the teepee and explore their surroundings. Looking like a married couple already, they embrace with the woods framing their every move.

Since it is an engagement shoot, the stylists add a little more sparkle to Tammie’s ring by placing it on top of a purple crystal.

Seated in a large wicker chair, Tammie is graced with a new look. She looks beautiful in a periwinkle gown complete with a V-neck, long sleeves, and a slit.

Sweet additions to the shoot are the small heart-shaped cookies brushed with a watercolor effect.

Tammie’s hair mirrors the look of her dress with the inclusion of a periwinkle ribbon woven throughout her updo. It’s an unexpected and surprising detail as she turns her back to the lens.

One last happy snap shows the couple holding hands and sharing a sweet kiss.

This styled shoot allowed Tammie to show off her personality with a peaceful bohemian-inspired vibe shared with the man who makes her feel like a princess. These two turned the Florida woods into a magical wonderland for two.
