St Louis Missouri Fall Real Wedding

St Louis Missouri Fall Real Wedding. Rachael and Eric were friends for years while living in St. Louis Missouri before Eric moved to Dallas and Rachael found herself sadder than expected. After visiting her brother in Denver, Rachael's layover flight in Dallas was cancelled. Eric came to her rescue, picked her up and the two had an amazing dinner together. Four months later, Rachael called Dallas home, as well, and the two were engaged in a year. Their St. Louis wedding was as personal and intimate as it gets. After pouring over venue options, Rachael couldn't find one that had been untouched by other wedded couples. Finally, Rachael's bonus mom offered her living room as an option and it was the answer to their wedding venue prayers.

The house, originally built in 1900 by the CEO of Purina, still maintained an antique and vintage feel. The living room was still in original form even after modifications to other areas of the home over the years.

The invitation suite told guests that a classic and beautiful event was going to take place. Its gold envelopes, modern calligraphy and delicate floral details were beautiful and timeless.

Rachael's bouquet was set afire with red calla lilies, confetti roses and sunflowers. Her bridal accessories included white flats, beaded hair combs and a simple bracelet. For her wedding day, she chose a sweetheart neckline ball gown with full tulle skirt and embellished highlight at the waist.

Eric looked incredible in a black tuxedo, black bowtie and beaming confetti rose boutonniere.

He paused for a few solo shots in front of the gorgeous stone exterior of the house before being joined by the bridal party.

Red was a common color theme throughout this important day. Rachael's bridesmaids wore dark red dresses with long hemlines and personalized necklines.

They carried similar bouquets with bold and blazing colors. The groomsmen all wore dark suits, traditional black ties and confetti rose boutonnieres for a seamless look across the board.

Rachael and Eric continued to take photos before the ceremony. They walked on the grounds, hand-in-hand and also had an intimate moment on the staircase.

The ceremony space was filled with gold chairs and candlelight.

Under a collection of chandeliers and in front of a grand piece of artwork, Rachael and Eric said I do with Rachael's brother serving as the officiant.

To keep with the feel of the day, they chose to have a laidback gathering at the Monarch Event Space with appetizers, drinks and desserts to softly celebrate their lives coming together.

The bride and groom shared their first dance as guests enjoyed the close-knit feel of the space.

Rachael and Eric's love story is just as unique as their wedding. Built on friendship, these two found their way to each other and chose to celebrate in the most heartwarming of ways. Never shying away from what they truly want, their wedding proves that sometimes, you just have to go back home to find what it is you're looking for.
