Spring is upon us and this spring-styled shoot abounds with soft color and delicate accents. With the magnolia tree as its inspiration, grace and simplicity shine through contrasting color schemes and the spring scenery of Niagara-on-the-Lake. With a selection of bridal styles, one can see the possibilities of an eternal spring wedding day in southern Ontario.
A bouquet of roses in soft carnation pink and lily white, along with hints of lilac purple, sets the tone for the bride’s look.
She first appears on a set of stone steps, where the open back of her gown is on display. A modern, geometric-inspired bodice gives way to a flowing white skirt that’s perfect for the outdoors.
Her hair is styled in an intricate braided updo that mirrors the design detail of her gown.
As the magnolia blooms fly and fall to the ground, she begins to let her hair down.
A second look shows the bride sporting a half-up hairstyle with a center part. This style frames her face and highlights her natural beauty.
She looks quite at home under a blooming pink magnolia tree with the contrasting verdant greenery at her feet.
She gathers the hem of her skirt and surrounds herself with the beauty of the gorgeous pink blossoms.
The next look she presents is a dreamy, classic ball gown. The top features a sheer neckline and sweetheart style bodice with a full tulle skirt and darling bow detail in the back.
She looks ethereal and magnificent – as delicate as the petals themselves – as she waits beneath the tree.

Because of the illustrious awakening that happens in spring, it doesn’t take much to find a wedding-worthy location outdoors.
