Slovakia Wieger’s Villa Wedding

For their Slovakia wedding, Lukas and Lenka had one rule of thumb – “for us, by us.” They wanted the experience to be completely 100% unique to their own style and vision. What they produced was a high-fashion interpretation of the beloved cinema classic, La Dolce Vita, which set the tone for everything from the location to the bride’s accessories. europe wedding

Wiegerova Vila emitted the old world, Italian countryside feel the couple were hoping for; however, they put their own creative spin to infuse a modern vibe. Its villa-esque quality was matched with beautiful furniture for an up-to-date feel.

Lenka did not hold back when it came to her statement fashion choices for her wedding day. She channeled famous Italian design house Dolce and Gabbana throughout her entire look. The floral quality of her signature style was first made an appearance in her heels.

The high-low skirt of her gown was truly show-stopping. It featured a gilded and elaborate design that left everyone, including the groom, in awe.

The top of her gown was an off-the-shoulder beaded piece that she accessorized with a confidently colored hot pink belt.

Lenka is a fair-haired beauty who adorned her updo with floral hairpieces. She wore her makeup natural and light to show off her striking blue eyes. She accessorized with statement floral earrings to complete her bridal look.

Her bridesmaids also joined in on the floral fun. The group matched in V-neck dresses in various silhouettes, but chose their own personal style of shoes.

Lukas was overflowing with excitement. He looked handsome in a classic black tuxedo with black bow tie - a timeless choice.

The ceremony was full of warm sunshine and bright colors. Guests were seated amid rows of sleek black chairs. The ceremony took place between two flower-topped columns with a special table in the center. In the background were a row of large white balloons that fluttered in the breeze.

The groomsmen, who were dressed in handsome suits, escorted the bridesmaids.

But the piece de resistance was when Lenka walked down the aisle. Her dress was stunning and her oversized bouquet was captivating.

The couple said their “I dos” and walked back down the aisle hand-in-hand under a shower of rose petals to the tune of Jason Derulo.

They captured photos around the property that emitted the romanticism of La Dolce Vita, with its stone arches and steps, and high views of the lush countryside.

They transformed the reception space into a personalized affair. Large pictures of the bride and groom hung on the walls, along with small personalized cards on the table.

Each reception table featured a black and white-striped linen and bright pink floral centerpieces. Place settings were marked with black and white place cards, gold chargers, and black napkins.

Offering a lovely balance to the elaborate vision was their simple two-tiered naked wedding cake. The delicious creation featured layers adorned with an assortment of colorful and seasonal berries.

Lenka and Lukas danced the night away with their friends and family. They reflected on their day as something that was completely their own, unlike any other wedding before.

This couple’s best advice is to make your wedding exactly that – your wedding. Be unique, throw out traditions if they don’t speak to you, and communicate your vision to those with whom you choose to work. It will all be worth it as you’re dancing the night away, basking in the most amazing wedding you’ve ever attended – yours!
