Malibu Engagement Photos. Anna and Greg explored both sea and land during their Malibu, Calif., engagement session. After dipping their toes in the melodic tide of Matador State Beach, they made their way to Malibu State Creek Park where they let themselves wander with the rolling hills and tall grasses.

Anna and Greg went for a more formal look during the first half of their session. Anna chose a rich wine-colored gown with a deep V-neck and long flowing skirt – perfect for the beach – and curled her dark tresses. Her ring was obviously a stand out accessory against her vivid dress.

Greg donned a black suit with a red bow tie and colorful pocket square. It was the perfect complement to his fianceé.

Atop the large beached rocks and down on the sand, the look of love was ubiquitous.

They didn’t hesitate to let the water flow over their ankles, drowning the hem of her skirt and splashing his pants. They embraced the moment and laughed, producing an authentic, off-the-cuff scene on camera.

The next half of their shoot was more casual as they made their way up to the majestic Malibu State Creek Park. Anna dressed down in a white blouse and dark jeans.

Greg joined her with a light denim shirt and dark jeans. They embraced in front of a large tree, with the sunlit glinting over the horizon and a swirl of clouds hanging overhead.

Their four-legged friend also joined them for a special photo. Clearly, their pet is excited about what’s to come for their family.

Anna and Greg chose two distinctive Malibu settings for their engagement photos and the contrast couldn’t be any more interesting and special. The idea to evoke a formal style on the beach and a casual style in the park was intriguing. This engagement session proves that no matter what, Anna and Greg are happy anywhere as long as they are together.
