Lewiston New York Wedding by Ayres Photography. Be unique and break with tradition. That's what New York couple Rachel and Kenny were thinking for their Lewiston nuptials. With colorful accessories and fun photo ops, this youthful pair had quite the wedding day to remember.
The ceremony took place outside, in front of a petal-soaked aisle and a rustic altar made from tree branches and gorgeous sprays of flowers.
Rachel looked stunning in a strapless gown, with generous pick-ups on the skirt. It featured ruched fabric that complemented her figure and a small train. She opted for a simple flower detail to adorn her hair and delicate jewelry accessories. Her bridesmaids wore strapless navy blue gowns with sweetheart necklines, along with silver shoes. While Rachel carried an elegant all-white bouquet, the bridesmaids had touches of pink in theirs.
Kenny wanted to make sure he stood out. He wore a light gray suit with a pink and navy blue striped bow tie. Groomsmen wore gray suits with navy blue vests and bow ties for added variation. But, after the ceremony, all the guys changed into orange and blue Chucks and purple socks for fun.
With a wedding party of 20, you know the reception had to be fun. There was lots of dancing, laughing and memory-making. The reception tables looked beautiful as they were covered with white linens and topped with flower arrangements filled with white hydrangea, pink roses, cream roses and baby's breath.
Instead of a traditional wedding cake, the couple opted for cupcakes. Sitting atop a grand navy and pink cupcake stand, guests had their choice of chocolate or vanilla. And for an added treat, guests could also delight in gelato! Yum!
Before the night was through, the couple was able to take a moment for some incredibly special photo opportunities. Embracing one another under the night sky, their photographer captured some splendid one-off photos before they said good-bye to their guests.
The natural beauty of Rachel and Kenny's venue was one-of-a-kind. Mixing unconventional fun with still a few traditional touches kept their wedding day special, personalized and unique.
