Kurt Boomer Sunstone Winery Workshop
Photographer Kurt Boomer hosted a workshop at Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California, and the finished product is radiant and special. Teeming with romantic and inspiring color, Boomer and the team mixed both traditional and modern elements to create a captivating vineyard wedding experience. Blueberry Photography’s lens floated through various, recognizable aspects of weddings.
The first bride dons a boat neck gown with an A-line skirt, all crafted with the beautiful presentation of blue floral fabric. Her hair and makeup are simple, rendering a lovely balance to the statement dress.
Her bouquet isn’t too perfect; it’s a carefree arrangement of several kinds of berries, flowers, and greenery – all tied together with ribbons.
Soaking up the warm sunshine, she is seen with a bridesmaid who wears a blush halter-style dress with lace detail.
A reception scene is fashioned with contrasting, yet appealing details. A natural wooden table serves as the foundation, while dainty blue and white china are presented for the guest along with a matching menu card. A collection of eggs, a hearty bread loaf, dripping tall white tapers, and a flower arrangement complete the simple but attractive table.
A charcuterie tray is the perfect offering to guests at this rustic and romantic celebration.
Standing just beyond the rows of grapevines, a second bride looks off into the distance. Her picturesque form is defined by a lace jewel neck gown with an illusion neckline and a long train. She holds a similar bouquet as the first bride, its gentle-colored ribbons are dancing in the breeze.
For a carefree moment, she kicks off her shoes, puts down the bouquet, and grabs the hand of the groom – dressed in a dark gray suit and bow tie – and frolic across the grounds.
Their styles are the perfect complement to one another. Their modern fashion and accessories have touches of tradition that are endearing.
The Sunstone Winery offers gorgeous views. The lush grounds paired with the tall hills in the distance are a spectacular photo backdrop.

What a unique source of light! Inside, under the grand candle chandelier, the bride now appears with enchanted taste and dances with the groom surrounded by an intimacy only the space could behold.
