East Meadow New York Autumn Wedding. Fall weddings offer couples the wonderful opportunity of embracing the hearty, brazen colors of the season. For New York couple Laura and Stephen, their beautiful fall wedding was an autumnal, rustic vision set in the heart of East Meadow.
Bride Laura looked like a classic and timeless beauty. Her strapless lace gown featured a sweetheart neckline and a ribbon waistband with embellishments. She wore a floor-length veil with a blusher and dainty floral accessory on the side. She walked down the aisle in sassy gold heels and carried a bouquet made entirely of stark white orchids.
The bridesmaids flattering floor-length navy blue dresses were complemented perfectly with bright orange lily bouquets.
The groom and his groomsmen all wore similar looks with black and midnight blue tuxedos and black bowties. While Stephen wore a white orchid boutonniere similar to his bride's bouquet, the groomsmen wore boutonnieres made from the fire-orange lilies of the bridesmaids flowers.
Married in a classic church, the couple made their promises of forever in front of a large group of family and friends.
After the ceremony, the couple had a sophisticated reception at The Carltun.
This party was sprayed with flowers. The reception tables featured tall arrangements filled with multi-colored roses, white hydrangea and hanging ferns, all wrapped around a collection of twisted branches. At the foot of the arrangements were sprinkled rose petals and votive candles. Some tables also featured tall candles in varying heights for a romantic feel and small flower arrangements for a subtle difference.
The cake was a white creation of four-round tiers. Each tier was wrapped with white satin ribbon, featuring small dainty flur de lis and a beautiful cascade of white orchids.
The sweetheart table was the centerpiece of the reception. Two trees joined together with intertwining branches above a table covered with white linens and red rose petals. Two high-back chairs sat underneath a ceiling of votives, flowers and branches.
Laura and Stephen embraced the season to make their wedding day a fall fantasy. Their wedding featured everything wonderful about autumn: the bold colors, beautiful barren branches and best of all, warmth that only loved ones can offer. We wish these two the best!
