Coastal Fort Getty Pavilion Rhode Island Wedding

Rhode Island Wedding at Fort Getty Pavilion. For many parts of the country, culinary traditions aren't just dining experiences they're a way of life. For Rhode Island couple Ashley and Tim, a lobster bake right by the water is exactly what they wanted at their seaside wedding. Guests enjoyed great food, live music and an incredible view thanks to their creativity and love for New England culture. rhode island wedding rhode island wedding

The event took place at a local pavilion. It was complete with open-air architecture, wooden beams and strings upon strings of lights. Guests found their places from a display of personalized stones. Each place setting featured a bright coral-colored napkin and lobster cracker.

For the ceremony, Ashley kept her look pretty and practical for the beach. She wore a strapless ivory-colored A-line gown teeming with lace from neckline to hem. She added a beaded belt to accentuate her waist. A string of pearls and a flower in her hair were all the accessories she needed. Her bridesmaids wore short dark blue dresses and covered their shoulders with coral and cream pashminas.

Tim has a refreshing personality and he looked cool and comfortable on his wedding day. He chose a khaki-colored suit, a blue patterned shirt, butter yellow tie and Birkenstock sandals. He let his long hair hang loose and free and wore the biggest smile throughout the day. His groomsmen wore navy blazers, light blue shirts and coral-colored ties.

After the Rhode Island wedding couple said I do they enjoyed the lobster bake right on the beach. The couple even helped to dismantle it, throwing off the top cover.

They also took the opportunity to take some photos along the pebble-covered shore, inviting their two best furry friends to join in.

As the night began to fall, the lanterns on the tables were lit and the string lights were beaming.

After guests dined and danced, they enjoyed a bonfire on the beach. When they were ready to make an exit, the couple planned an incredible getaway. Forget a car“ Ashley and Tim hopped aboard a boat and literally sailed away to their honeymoon.

Ashley and Tim had a very specific experience in mind when planning their day. It was all about food and fun. Thanks to some imagination, their Rhode Island crustacean celebration was a huge hit and will be remembered for years to come.
