Brooklyn Botanical Gardens New York Wedding

We all reach that point in the winter where we are ready for spring to arrive. For couple Kelsey and Noah, their April wedding promised to be a celebration not only of their union but the beautiful things the new season had to offer. There's no better way to celebrate a garden-themed wedding than at the scenic Brooklyn Botanical Garden in New York. new york wedding

Kelsey looked like a traditional bride on her wedding day. She chose a sweetheart neckline ball gown and accessorized with a lace jacket complete with sleeves. She paired it with the most darling blush-pink heels and romantic veil.

The couple embraced the cherry blossoms and their gorgeous romantic hue. With the sun shining bright, it was a quixotic addition to their big day. To emulate the color, Kelsey carried a bouquet full of blush and white garden roses with added greenery.

Kelsey's bridesmaids carried similar bouquets. For the cool April event, they wore teal knee-length dresses with matching gray cardigans and comfortable wedge heels.

Noah and his groomsmen wore gray, as well. Each handsome fella wore a gray suit, white shirt and blush-colored tie and all sported white rose boutonnieres.

Under a magnificent tree set in the gardens, Kelsey walked down the aisle to her groom. With the delicate sunlight and the soft breeze, the ceremony was truly picturesque.

After the couple said I do, they made their way around the property for a few shots before the celebration kicked off inside.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate the couple in the Palm House. Sunlight poured in through the glass roof and cast the most amazing shadows through the laser-cut menus and place cards.

Round reception tables were covered with white linens and white chivari chairs were placed at each setting. The centerpieces echoed the flowers from the bride's bouquet, with bright pink garden roses highlighting the tables.

The cake was a pink and white dream. Four round white tiers sat atop a silver cake stand. Carefully placed about each layer were small collections of roses in peach, pink and white for a classy touch of color.

For the reception, Kelsey changed up her look. Wearing the same gown, she took off the jacket and wrapped a pink satin ribbon belt around her waist. She looked charming, delightful and ready to celebrate.

The couple exited the ceremony in a rousing display of petal throwing and haled a classic yellow New York taxi.
