Appling Georgia Real Wedding. Sometimes life gives you a second chance. And if that’s second chance is at true love, you have to take it. Pamela and Tony recognized what a special relationship they had from the start and knew their wedding day had to be truly special. That’s why when it came to the wedding location, the only place they dreamed about getting married at was their own home in Appling, Georgia. Surrounded by vestiges of their home and most importantly, their children, these two romantics officially became one. The entire wedding was designed around soft colors, organic touches, and exclusive items from the couple’s property, including the abundant seeded eucalyptus. The inspirational greenery made an appearance on their invitation suite and was instantly recognizable from the drive of their home.
Pamela’s bouquet was crafted with light pink roses and peonies, intermixed with white flowers and greenery. The collection was tied beautifully with a rose-colored ribbon.
In front of the beautiful brick steps and wooden door of their home, the ceremony space was created with an arbor of greenery flanked with stumps from their property, along with ferns and lanterns. Guests were seated at elegant wooden chairs.
Tony, along with his groomsmen, wore a light gray suit with vest and tie. His son served as his best man and stood by his side as Pamela walked down the aisle.
Pamela’s son escorted her down the aisle and along with his sister, gave her away. She wore a strapless gown full of beautiful lace detail and accessorized with a chapel-length veil. Her daughter, dressed in blush, held her hand the entire time. Pamela joined Tony and the two were wed by a close friend, surrounded by the warmth of their home and their loved ones.
The reception echoed the beautiful and natural feeling of their ceremony. Pamela removed her veil and her new husband joined her on the dance floor under a canopy of string lights, erupting in infectious laughter.
Rustic wooden benches with throw pillows made a beautiful addition to the party next to the lake.
Inside, guests were seated at round tables with flower arrangements featuring blooms from their own home, and the beautiful chairs from the ceremony. Rose gold lanterns, china plates, and sterling silver flatware added a delicate touch to the abundance of organic trimmings.
A four-tier naked wedding cake was the perfect treat for their wedding. The simplicity and elegance of the minimal white buttercream and flower decorations made it an idyllic centerpiece to the reception.
As the night fell on the celebration, the porch radiated with light, casting a romantic and warm glow on the couple and their guests.
And Tony and Pamela chose to end the night with a show stopping finale. Fireworks lit up the night sky for a loud and thunderous display of color and energy before the couple said goodnight to their guests.
Oftentimes, the bride eclipses the groom with attention and detail but for Pamela and Tony, it truly was a family affair. No venue on earth could offer the personal touch and emotional connection these two desired. And now, as they step out on their porch, they won’t just see the lake or the sunset; they’ll see the very spot where their hearts, and families, were united forever.
